Kensington Avenue Primary School (KAPS) has received a Schools for Nature certificate signed by Sir David Attenborough in recognition of its efforts to protect and restore the local environment.
The Schools For Nature programme is designed to celebrate schools’ work in helping to preserve the natural environment in their school grounds. It highlights the important contribution that schools can make to help nature.
The certificate follows on from our primary academy’s participation in Outdoor Classroom Day.
