A-Norbury-High-School-for-Girls-GCSE-studentGCSE results at our Norbury High academy not only improved on last year but bucked a national trend which saw passes fall for the third year in a row.

Student progress improved across the board at the secondary school with grades either matching or bettering the national average across every level 2 subject.

In terms of the pass rate, 80.3% of GCSE grades at Norbury High were awarded a 4 or above which compares with 67.6% received nationally; in English and maths, 69% of results at Norbury High scored a 4 or higher. Student progress at the academy remains very good in comparison to the rest of the UK, particularly in English.

Many of these key stage 4 students will now go on to begin sixth form study with a significant number choosing to stay at Norbury High.

These results are reflective of the hard work and dedication of not only the students themselves but staff at the school, from senior leadership to support staff, as well as governors and supportive parents, whose input is highly valued.

We wish all our Norbury High students well as they take the next steps on their learning journey.
